Marie was born on October 8th, 1742 in harcanville and her christening took place there on October 8th, 1742 conducted by the vicar.  Her godfather was jacques FLAGANT and her godmothers were marie, marguerite  VIEILLOT.  Marie's father was Nicolas GRENIER and her mother was Madeleine LIGNY.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard GRENIER and Catherine (HODIUX). She had three brothers and a sister, named Vincent, Jean, Nicolas and Marie.
