Jacques was born on August 9th, 1788 in Saint-Coulomb, Bretagne, France and his christening took place there on August 9th, 1788.  His godfather was Jean LAUNAY and his godmother was Francoise MALLET.  Jacques' father was Ollivier GILBERT and his mother was Jeanne JAMET.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 67 on February 10th, 1856 in Saint-Coulomb, Bretagne, France.
