Victoire's father was Jean Noel BESNE and her mother was Françoise Victoire MASSELIN.  Her paternal grandparents were Jean Baptiste LEBÊNE and Marie Margueritte HACHARD; her maternal grandparents were Antoine MASSELIN and Anne MOLE. She had a brother named Jean.  She was the older of the two children.
