Alice Mitsuyo Oka

Alice Mitsuyo was born on August 1st, 1920 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Alice Mitsuyo's father was Tatsuzo Oka and her mother was Koo Terawaki.  Her paternal grandparents are Shiusuke Oka and Katsu Kami; her maternal grandparents are Shigezo Terawaki and Yuki Terawaki. She had two brothers and a sister, named Samual Tatsuo, Jack Hiroshi and Chiyoko.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Katsue.  She died at the age of 89 on January 2nd, 2010.

‌Alice Mitsuyo and Tetsui were married in a religious ceremony on December 3rd, 1942 in Newell, California.  They had three sons and two daughters, named KC, Brent Lane, Roger, Carolyn Tei and Kathyrn Mary.
