Henry was born in 1773 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States.  Henry's father was GEORGE Phillip Snodderly and his mother was ELIZABETH Turley.  His paternal grandparents were PHILIP George Snodderly and Elizabeth Sabina Schabley. He had four brothers and six sisters, named JOHN, John, Peter Jacob, Henry, Sallie, Mary, Susannah, Catherine, Sabine Elizabeth and Rachel. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Henry, Henry, Jacob, Sallie, Susannah, Rachel and Catherine.  He died at the age of 52 on December 5th, 1825 in Anderson, Tennessee, United States.
