CAP. JOHN was born on May 6th, 1585 in Heacham, Norfolk, , England.1   CAP. JOHN's father was JOHN Rolfe Sr. and his mother was DORETHEA Mason.  His paternal grandparents were EUSTACE Rolfe and JOANNA Jenner; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM Mason Jr. and Agnes Brown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Eustace, Henry, Edward, Honor and Dorothy.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 36 on March 22nd, 1622 in Jamestown, James City, Virginia, United States.2
