Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Basset Sr. and Alice; her maternal grandparents were Thurston Basset and Mrs Thurston Basset. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Philip, Milo, Richard, RALPH, Eustachia and Aliva. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Mary. She died at the age of 51 in 1233 in , , , England.-
