Nathaniel Rice 
Nathaniel was born about 1696 in St. Paul's Parish, Hanover Co, Va. Nathaniel's father was Thomas Rice II and his mother was Marcey Anne Hewes. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Rice (Rhuys )I. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Edward, John, Mathew, David, Joseph, Benjamin, William, James, Susannah, Mary and Marcey. He died in 1787 in Bedford Co, Va. He was buried in Bedford Co, Va.-
