Countess Richardis of the Mark

Richardis was born in 1314 in Mark Hamm, Westfalen, Prussia.¹ Richardis' father was Count Engelbert of the Mark and her mother was Mathilde d' Arenberg. Her paternal grandparents were Count Eberhard of the Mark I and Countess Irmgard of Berg. She had a brother and a sister, named Adolf and Irmgard. She was the youngest of the three children.
