Stefan was born in 1089 in Serbia.1   Stefan's father was Wlodzimierz of Serbia and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Michael of Serbia and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 41 in 1130.1
