Enguerrand was born in 0970 in Ponthieu, France.1 Enguerrand's father was Count Hugh of Ponthieu I and his mother was Gisela Capet. His maternal grandparents were Hugh Capet Of France and Adelhaide de Guienne Of Aquitaine. He was an only child. He died at the age of 76 on December 9th, 1046.2 General Notes
