Faolan was born in 0570 in Leinster, Ireland.1   Faolan's father was Colman Mor of Leinster and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were King Cairbre of Leinster and <Unknown>.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 93 in 0663.1
