Count Siegfried of Leiningen

Siegfried was born in 1086 in Alt-Leiningen, Pfalz, Bavaria.¹   Siegfried's father was Count Emich of Leiningen I and his mother was Countess Adelheid of Leiningen.  His paternal grandparents were Emich of Leiningen and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named Gerlach, Emich and Konrad.  He was the youngest of the four children.
