Count Heinrich of Leiningen

Heinrich was born in 1108 in Alt-Leiningen, Pfalz, Bavaria.¹ Heinrich's father was Count Emich of Leiningen II and his mother was Alberat von Nassau. His paternal grandparents were Count Emich of Leiningen I and Countess Adelheid of Leiningen. He had two brothers named Gunther and Emich. He was the second oldest of the three children.
