Ramses was born in 1137 BC.1 Ramses' father was Pharaoh Ramses of Egypt IX and his mother was Baktwernel. His paternal grandparents were Pharaoh Ramses of Egypt VI and Takhat. He was an only child. He died in 1099 BC.1 General Notes

Ramesses X was the ninth king of the Twentieth Dynasty. During his reign the workers went on strike for wages not paid. There are few monuments of Ramesses that have survived. He left a tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
