‌James and UNKNOWN were married in a religious ceremony in Surry County, North Carolina.¹   They had four sons and eight daughters, named Jonathan, Jesse, Hugh H, James, Patsy, Susanna, Elizabeth, Mary, Anna, Jenny, Frances and Sally.
