Seigneur Ranulphus de Preaux de Briwere 
Ranulphus was born in 1028 in Preaux-Bocage, Calvados, Normandy, France.1 Ranulphus' father was Seigneur Richard de Ries de Preaux and his mother was Adela d'Eu. His paternal grandparents were Eudes de Ries and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Count Geoffroy FitzRichard Brionne and Hawise de Guines. He had a brother and a sister, named Ingleran and Albreda. He was the oldest of the three children. He had five half-brothers named Roger, Nigel, William, Comte de Lassy Hughes and Yvron. He died at the age of 56 in 1084 in Stoke, Devonshire, England.2 -
