Annora was born in 1294 in Holme, Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ Annora's father was Robert de Pierrepont and her mother was Sarah Heriz. Her paternal grandparents were Lord Henry de Pierrepont and Annora Manvers; her maternal grandparents were John Heriz and Matilda. She had a brother and two sisters, named Herny, Elizabeth and Margaret. She was the oldest of the four children.
