William de Nevers I 
William was born in 1030 in Nevers, Nievre, Bourgogne, France.1 William's father was Renaud de Nevers and his mother was Princess Adelais Capet of France. His paternal grandparents were Landry de Nevers IV and Maud de Burgundy; his maternal grandparents were King Robert II (The Pious) Capet Of France and Constance Of Toulouse. He had a brother named The Burgundian. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named The Frisian, Richard, The Peaceable, Judith, Maud, Alix and Le Bon. He died at the age of 70 on June 20th, 1100 in Nevers, France.2 General Notes
