Richard de Merston 
Richard was born in 1112 in Marston Moretaine, Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England.1 Richard's father was Nigel FitzErfast and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Erfast and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 54 in 1166.1 General Notes
Richardus de Merston son of Nigel fitz Erfast, tenant of Marston in the Bedfordshire honour of Cainhoe. Occurs in the 1140s. Nigel de Merston, presumably his son, held three fees of the honour in 1166. [Domesday Descendants p582]
