Eustace was born in 1080 in Knaresborough Castle, Yorkshire, England.1   Eustace's father was John Eustace de Lacy and his mother was Magdalen de Blois.  His maternal grandparents were Count Theobald de Blois and Garsinde du Maine.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 77 on July 3rd, 1157 in Alnwick Castle, Northumberlandshire, England.1
