Ferdinand de la Cerda 
Ferdinand was born in December 1255. Ferdinand's father was Alfonso X of Castile and Leon and his mother was Violante of Aragon. His maternal grandmother was VIOLANTE OF HUNGARY. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Sancho IV of, Pedro of, Juan of, Jaime of, Berenguela of, Beatrice of, Constanza of, Violante of, Isabel of and Leonar of. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 19 in August 1275 in Ciudad Real, France.General Notes
