Ardolf de Guines I (Adolphus of Guisnes) 
Ardolf was born in 0955 in Boulogne, Artois, France.1 Ardolf's father was Count Sigfried le Danois de Guisnes and his mother was Elstrude de Flanders. His paternal grandparents were Godefrid Haraldsson and Gisela Lorraine; his maternal grandparents were Arnoul I Flanders and Alix de Vermandois. He had a sister named Heloise. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 41 in 0996.General Notes
