Idonea was born in 1303 in Clifford Castle, Clifford, Herefordshire, England.1 Idonea's father was Lord Robert de Clifford IV and her mother was Maud de Clare. Her maternal grandparents were Lord Thomas de Clare and Julian FitzMaurice. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Margaret. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 62 on August 24th, 1365 in Yorkshire, England.1 General Notes
