Hugh de Chaworth (Ilbert Payn de Chaworth)

Hugh was born in 1035 in St. Symphoro, Lamans, Maine, France.¹ Hugh's father was Payne de Freteval and his mother was Adierne de Montdoubleau. His paternal grandparents were Nivelon de Freteval I and Ermentrude; his maternal grandparents were Odo de Montdoubleau and Placentia de Montoire. He was an only child. He died at the age of 61 in 1096 in Chaworth, Nottinghamshire, England.¹
