Duc Eudes de Bourgogne III 
Eudes was born in 1166 in Bourgogne, France.1 Eudes' father was Duc Hugues de Bourgogne III and his mother was Alix de Lorraine. His maternal grandparents were Duc Matthias de Lorraine I and Bertha von Schwaben. He had a brother and a sister, named Alexandre and Alix. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 52 on July 6th, 1218 in Lyon, France.1 General Notes
