Elizabeth de Assheton

Elizabeth was born in 1491 in Middleton, Lancashire, England.¹ Elizabeth's father was Richard de Assheton and her mother was Elizabeth Talbot. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph de Assheton and Margaret Barton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Edmund, Margaret, Alice and Dorothy. She was the youngest of the six children.
