Gruffydd ap Ivor Bach

Gruffydd was born in 1130 in Llancayach, Glamorganshire, Wales.¹   Gruffydd's father was Ivor Bach ap Meurig Fychan and his mother was Nest verch Gruffydd. He had a sister named Gwenllian.  He was the older of the two children.
