Leonard Nicholas Yates 
Leonard Nicholas was born on May 11th, 1895 in Texas Co, MO. Leonard Nicholas' father was James Marshall Yates and his mother was Martha Ellen Stice. His maternal grandparents were Phillip Washington Stice and Sarilda Cockriel. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Richard Henry, John Bruce, Bessie Mae and Annie Roonie. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 23 on October 30th, 1918 in Texas Co, MO. He was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Cass Twp, Texas Co, MO.General Notes
