Francis Woods 
Francis was born in 1855 in Orange Co, NC.1 Francis' father was William Woods and his mother was Demaris Roberts. His maternal grandparents were James H. Roberts and Jane Carrington. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Thomas, Willie, William G., Samuel Jack, Infant and Margaret. He was the oldest of the nine children.1 General Notes
