Jasper Lorenzel was born on September 21st, 1907 in Person Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Jasper Lorenzel's father was James William Whitfield and his mother was Katherine Lewis Hicks. His maternal grandparents were David Alfred Hicks and Sarah Ann Rhew. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George David, James W., William Dolphin, Sarah A., Macy B. and Fannie S.. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on November 11th, 1982 in Roxboro, Person Co, NC.General Notes
