Ecgbert III was born in 0775. Ecgbert III's father was Ealhmund Kent and his mother was daughter of Kent. His paternal grandparents were Eaba Atheling of Wessex and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were King Aethelbert II of Kent and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on February 4th, 0839 in Wessex, England. He was buried in Winchester Cathedral, London, England.General Notes
# Note: Egbert became the first King of Wessex in 802, he also included Kent in his kingdome in 827. He is considered to be the first king of England--however it only included the south and west (Kent and Wessex areas).
