Shedric Henderson was born on November 4th, 1866 in Near Mintonville, Kentucky. Shedric Henderson's father was James B. "Pumpkin Jim" Wesley and his mother was Serena Cyrena Hines. His paternal grandparents were Shadric Wesley and Nancy Ann Watson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Albert Clinton, James Mitchell, Nancy A., Anna J., Minnie L. and Mary Eve "Dean". He died at the age of 77 on May 31st, 1944. He was buried in Shady Grove Cemetary, Mangum, Pulaski County, Kentucky.-
