Adam was born on July 22nd, 1304 in Cockington, Devonshire, England.1 Adam's father was Baron de Welles Adam Welles and his mother was Joan Engaine. His paternal grandparents were Robert Welles and Isabel de Periton; his maternal grandparents were John Engaine and Joan Greinville. He had a brother named Robert. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 40 on February 24th, 1345.1 -
