Roy was born in 1918 in Wake Co, NC. Roy's father was Paul B. Walker and his mother was Drucilla 'Drucy' Rhew. His maternal grandparents were John Ruffin Rhew Jr. and Sophronia Manolia Davis. He had two sisters named Bessie Elizabeth and Frances.General Notes
