William Underwood

William was born in 1849. William's father was Lafayette Underwood and his mother was Eleanor Scott. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Rousseau, Thomas, Mary Jane, Celia, Nancy A., Lydia and Sallie. He was the oldest of the nine children.
