Albert was born on May 20th, 1895 in Kentucky. Albert's father was John Lewis Underwood and his mother was Alceny 'Alcina' Warren. His paternal grandparents were Samuel S. Underwood and Sarah A. 'Sally' Thompson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Melvin H., Dellia Herbert 'Dellie', Barney 'Burney' C., Walter A., Lillie N., Mattie, Oma Mae and Living. He died at the age of 4 on September 10th, 1899 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He was buried in September 1899 in Popular Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Taylor County, Kentucky.-
