Arthur Elbrt was born on February 17th, 1923 in Halifax Co, VA. Arthur Elbrt's father was Robert Samuel Turner Jr. and his mother was Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Lucille Wilson. His maternal grandparents were William Samuel Wilson and Nanny Florence Painter. He had a brother named Jessie Lee. He was the older of the two children.
