He had a brother and three sisters, named Frances Cordelia, Sallie James, Ida Stewart and Infant. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 81 on October 6th, 1945 in Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA.. He was buried in Stevensburg Baptist Church Cem., Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA..General Notes
