Emily Eglentine [@@] was born on May 15th, 1844 in Hopeful, Fayette Co, GA. Emily Eglentine [@@]'s father was Herod [Jr @@] Thornton and her mother was Rebecca Scales. Her paternal grandparents were Herod [Sr @@] Thornton and Sylpha Blackman. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Seaborn [@@], Cornelius Andrew [@@], Young Herod [@@], Joseph Scales [@@], Angeline Rebecca [@@] and Franciana [@@]. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 64 on November 9th, 1908.-
