George Thomas 
George was born in 1855 in Maryland.1 George's father was Dr. James Thomas and his mother was Sarah Clare Maccubbin. His maternal grandparents were George Maccubbin and Eleanor Maccubbin. He had two brothers and a sister, named James, Clarence and Mary T.. He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named William Douglas Nelson.General Notes
