Robert Bruce was born on July 28th, 1949 in Manchester, Clay Co, KY.1 Robert Bruce's father was Tilford Ray Taylor and his mother was Geraldine Rader. His maternal grandparents were Pleasant Rader and Hazel Farmer. He had two brothers named Kelvin Wayne and Melvin Duane. He was the oldest of the three children.
