Barbara was born in 1590 in Stanway, Gloucestershire, England.1 Barbara's father was Paul Bart TRACY and her mother was Anne Sharkerley (Shakerly). Her maternal grandparents were Ralph SHAKERLEY and Alice RADCLIFFE. She had ten brothers and eight sisters, named Richard, Paul, Alexander, Sharkerley, Saunders, William, Nathaniel, Thomas, John, Vicessimus, Anne, Hester, Susanna, Alice, Lucy, Margaret, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the sixth oldest of the nineteen children.-
