William Stevenson 
William was born about 1835 in Kentucky. William's father was James Robertson Stevenson and his mother was Sarah Robertson Givens. His maternal grandparents were Eleazar Givens and Jane "Jenny" Robertson. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Eleazar, Christopher C., Mary J., Margaret and Isabel. He was the third oldest of the six children.General Notes
