Veta Fay was born on November 15th, 1916 in Delhi, Beckham Co, Oklahoma, USA. Veta Fay's father was Wesley Yeakley Smith and her mother was Lucinda Allie Brown. Her maternal grandparents were Major Emmett Brown and Sarah Emiline (Emma) Akin. She had two brothers named Bois Melvin and R E. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 84 on October 16th, 2001 in Oklahoma.-
