Moses M. Skaggs

Moses was born in 1834 in Kentucky.¹ Moses' father was William T. Skaggs and his mother was Susan Reeves. His paternal grandparents were William David Skaggs and Margaret Hoover; his maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, George, Joseph, Jasper, Benjamin, Joshua, Susanna and Chloe. He was the oldest of the nine children.
