Velda Marie Simpson 
Velda Marie was born on December 3rd, 1901 in Livingston Co, KY and her baptism took place in Census 1920. Velda Marie's father was John William Simpson and her mother was Yetta Lou Stokes. Her paternal grandparents were William Washington Simpson and Sarah Harris. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Everett Rue, Albert Lynn, William 'Willie' Casper, Vinnie Virenus, Nellie Jewell, Alice 'Allie' Dean, Yetta Pearl and Ava Muriel 'Mearl'. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on March 6th, 1981 in Rosiclare, Hardin Co, IL. She was buried in Howard Cemetery, Rosiclare, Hardin Co, IL.General Notes
