Anne Shirley 
Anne was born in 1482 in Shirley, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England. Anne's father was John Shirley and her mother was Eleanor Willoughby. Her maternal grandparents were Hugh Willoughby and Margaret De Freville. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Ralph, Thomas, Robert, Hugh, Nicholas, Henry, Richard, Baldwin, Margaret, Alice, Jane and Eleanor. She was the youngest of the thirteen children.-
