Nellie Dean was born on August 11th, 1888 in Chester, Crawford County, Arkansas, USA.1 Nellie Dean's father was Nathan Pascal Shipley and her mother was Mary Tennessee Temple. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Pascal SHIPLEY and Elizabeth Mildred LESTER. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Daniel Webster, Guy Vernon, Norman Pascal, Edgar Allen, Harold Eldred, Bertha Dee, Elisabeth Minerva, Hazel Irene and Nora Belle. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 92 on June 9th, 1981 in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA. She was buried in Memorial Park, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA.1 2 -
