John Savage

John was born in 1478 in Clifton, Cheshire, England.¹ John's father was John Savage and his mother was Dorothy Vernon. His paternal grandparents were John Savage and Catherine Stanley. He had five sisters named Alice, Felicia, Ellen, Maude and Catherine. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 94 in 1572.¹
